I came out a combination of vigorous and academic, which makes me, I guess, a bit of a split personality in the garden! I think it's that my natural tendency is vigorous but I'm working at tempering it with more knowledge, planning and design orientation. It's kind of like music or any other art form - complementing technique with expression, organization with creativity, intellect with emotion.
