Anticipation

Hydrangea_bud1_2

When I bought my house almost nine years ago, I tried to give away the hydrangeas. They seemed so old-fashioned. But I have come to respect and adore "old-fashioned," and bouquets of beautiful hydrangea blossoms fill the house in season. Right now I'm in the season of hydrangea anticipation. Soon... soon!
