Note To Self: Post Photos Immediately!
I started this blog in June 2007, so I wasn't posting at this time last year. I've recently learned a garden blogging principle that's especially important in early spring -- you have to post photos immediately! Over the past couple of weeks, I've taken photos of all the garden areas and delayed putting a post together for a few days. At that point the photos were already out of date and I needed to take a new set to accurately show the current status of the plants. Here are a few examples from this week:

HOSTA - April 19
~ ~ ~ ~ ~

ASIATIC HYBRID LILY - April 19

ASIATIC HYBRID LILY - April 27
~ ~ ~ ~ ~

PEONY - April 27
So my New Gardening Blogging Year's resolution is to make the distance between photo-taking and photo-posting as short as possible!

As my daughter would say, "true, true, how true!" Some of the flowers are seemingly here and gone in a blink of an eye. Some plants are almost unrecognizable a few days later. A timely post to remind me to go out and take more photos ;)

Sometime gardening feels like you are literally watching the grass grow. One of the nice things about a blog is you get to look back and see how much and how quickly it changes.
