Really good quote. Living on my own I get that "I must DO something" when I've not spoken to anyone for a day or so. Thank goodness I have a garden and pc because I'm not very good at dressmaking...LOL
Happy GTS :o)

Good to see the slugs havn't eaten all of your hosta.

What a thought provoking quote.I enjoy reading the quotes that you post.

You have the most interesting blog. Always something to think about and such a variety of subjects. I want to comment on every post because each one seems relevant to something in my life. Thank you.

Thanks for visiting and commenting, everyone!

Ruth - I love the way gardening and garden blogging go together as creative pursuits, don't you? The blog is such a fun extension and reflection of everything that happens outside.

Mark - No, the slugs haven't gotten the hostas. They are one of the plants I'm quite stingy with watering (since they're at the maximum size I want them) and the leaf edges are starting to turn brown. But I noticed with a lot of hostas in this area as I was driving around yesterday.

Sara - I admit I'm a "quote collector." However, I read a quote that said (paraphrasing), Don't tell me what someone else said; say something yourself! (So here I am quoting a quote about not quoting quotes!)

Jennifer - Thanks so very much for your kind and encouraging words. I'm really glad you enjoy visiting and reading!

Hi Beth! Enjoyed your quote. We had rain yesterday and it feels like fall today....which makes me want to "express" myself by getting out my vintage fabrics and making a doll quilt for my granddaughter! :-)

Hi Connie -- You are multi-talented. Why am I not surprised? It's cool here too (in the 60s) with rain yesterday, today and tomorrow. I love it!
