How interesting... I love reading self-evaluations like these because it gives me ideas on what to consider in my own garden. Yours looks great so far! :)


Thanks for sharing your self-evaluation and the detail about each section, the particular plants and what works and doesn't work for you. My gardens are only 3 years old and I don't have one area yet that feels finished. It's hard for me to formulate an overall plan and stick with it.

I think this area looks very pretty and if you discover the secret to large, healthy roses, I'd love to hear it :)

My goal is to incorporate more planning and design into my gardens and this was my first attempt at putting something cohesive together at one time from scratch. It's a great illustration of learning as you go (what works, what doesn't) and then refining to suit your vision.
