Plant Swap Part 7 (The Final Touch)

Though I actually planted this rooting first the morning after the Plant Swap, I saved it for last in my Show & Tell because it stands alone, adds a lovely element to a dull area of my yard, and is a nice final touch for this series.

I planted the Lily of the Valley in a terra cotta container I already had:

I think the slightly fancy decoration on this pot will suit the elegant bell-like blossoms when the lily of the valley is in bloom.

This is how it looks from afar, when I look out my music studio window or sit at my outdoor table:

A gentle touch of beauty and grace awaits at the end of the path. What more could we ask -- in gardening and in life?
